Traders swing to certainty Musk will post 300 to 319 times on X
Bets on Musk's X post count flipped from doubt to certainty in a day, though the tally is not final; the reason is unclear.

The 300-to-319 range, doubted a day earlier, is now treated as certain, completing a swing; the cause is still unclear.
Traders now treat it as certain that Elon Musk will post between 300 and 319 times on X in the window that began Oct. 30. The count is not final, so the outcome has not been confirmed, but bets against it have all but vanished.
The shift is a full turnaround within about a day. A day earlier, the 300-to-319 range was unlikely. It rose on Wednesday, then slipped on Thursday. Through Thursday evening and into the early hours of Friday, it faded further and briefly became a long shot. Early Friday it jumped to likely, and it kept climbing through the morning and afternoon until traders treated it as certain.
The move came as traders ruled out the neighboring ranges one by one. The 360-to-379 and 340-to-359 ranges were written off first. The 260-to-279 and 280-to-299 ranges followed, and the 320-to-339 range was dropped earlier on Friday. That left 300 to 319 as the only range still standing.
The reason for the swing is unclear. No news event or statement has been identified as driving it. The Daily Beast reported Wednesday that Musk deleted an election-day post urging people to vote Republican. A deleted post still counts if the tracker captured it, so the deletion does not by itself change the total, and the timing does not tie it to this move. Polymarket's event page showed a tracker-linked count of 256 when it was checked. The page does not say when that figure was taken, so it cannot explain the latest move either.
The count covers main-feed posts, quote posts and reposts, plus main-feed replies that the tracker captures. Other replies and community reposts the tracker misses do not count. Deleted posts count if the tracker caught them within about five minutes. The Post Counter figure at xtracker.polymarket.com decides the question, with X itself as the backup if the tracker fails.
The window closes at midday Eastern on Friday. Until the tracker's final figure is posted, the outcome is not officially confirmed. The question is whether the final tally lands in the low 300s, as traders now expect with certainty, or surprises them in the last hours.
